Job Summary:
Legacy Tower Technicians support all aspects of telecommunication installations including the construction and maintenance of telecommunications towers and structures. Daily objectives include ensuring that work is performed in accordance with all safety and quality guidelines and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform work on the tower while ensuring that a safe, quality installation is performed, including rigging, hoisting, landing, fastening, load hopping, etc.
  • Install equipment including masts, clamping, bracing, supports, antennas, RRUs, cabling, bolting, assist in shooting proper azimuth within tolerances, labeling, picture-taking, documentation
  • Assist in gathering all closeout documents (an absolute must)

  • Complete grounding, terminations, fastening, proper bolting and antioxidant use, support of leads, cad-welding as required, etc.
  • Assist in the assembly of monopoles, self-support guyed towers, and rooftop installations
  • Assist in transmission line installation
  • Assist with maintenance of vehicles and equipment, tool inventory, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have CPR/First Aid Course Certification
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to read and understand construction drawings, piping diagrams, job specifications, mounting specs, testing procedures, etc.
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment and independently
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

Job Summary:
Legacy’s Crew Lead is responsible for leading efforts in the construction and maintenance of communication tower sites. This role provides support to the Construction Manager and Project Manager in the supervision of all tower crew personnel, ensuring all OSHA requirements and company safety procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead work on tower top, looking after all aspects of work while on the tower, ensuring that a safe and quality installation has been performed, including rigging, hoisting, landing, fastening, load-hopping, etc.
  • Install up-top equipment including masts, clamping, bracing, supports, antennas, RRUs, cabling, bolting, trueing up, shooting proper azimuth within tolerances, reading maps and a compass, torquing to spec, labeling, picture-taking, documentation, plumb and tilt readings with smart level, etc.

  • Complete grounding, terminations, fastening, proper bolting and antioxidant use, support of leads, cadwelding as required, etc.
  • Assist with overall tasks required to build and install a site per customer specs, maintain safe work environment
  • Use and complete Jobsite Hazard Assessment (JHA) forms daily
  • Assist with overall crew work, including the maintenance of vehicles and equipment, etc.
  • Ensure that the highest level of safety and quality control requirements are upheld and mentor less experienced crew members in safety awareness
  • Photograph work-related tasks as needed for close-out packages
  • Assist in the coordination, preparation, and cleaning of job sites
  • Help lead the assembly of monopole, self-support guyed towers and roof top sites
  • Assist in the installation of microwave parabolic antennas 1 to 15ft, as well as VHF, UHF, cellular and FM broadcast antennas

  • Continue to work towards training and certifications for tower-related work

Job Summary:

The DAS & Small Cell Manager directs, coordinates and budgets activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of small cells as well as DAS.  Participates in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling and implementation.  Budget management is a must.
